I have mobility issues is the centre accessible for me?
The centre has access for those with mobility issues. If your appointment is on the first floor there is a lift. We also have two disabled toilets on the ground floor.
I’m interested in volunteering but worry I do not have the skills or time…
If you are new to volunteering do not worry – we offer guidance, support and training where necessary. We tailor the opportunities around both your own interests as well as a time commitment that you are comfortable with. Let’s have an informal chat over coffee and cake and explore your options.
Can I hire the centre for a private event?
Absolutely! We have hosted many successful private events over the years and we would be delighted to help you arrange yours. Contact Ben Ford at the centre for availability and pricing.
Can you cater for my event?
We are able to cater for all types of events – wakes, celebrations, meetings and more. Speak to one of our Pantry team to find out more.
I am interested in the history of Drybridge House, where can I find more information?

Where can I find out what is on at the centre?
You can find a list of our regular events such as Pilates, yoga, art classes – under the ‘What’s On’ section of the site. Contact details for the group leader and any associated costs will appear there. For other services not listed on the event page please contact reception who will be happy to assist.
Can I drop off donations for the Community Shop at the centre?
No. Whilst the centre looks incredibly big we actually do not have a great deal of storage here. Your donations are best going straight to the shop.
I’d like to book a ride with the community car scheme for my elderly relative, how do I do this please?
Before you can book a ride with the car scheme you will need to ensure the service user is registered with us. Please contact the team on: 01600 228787.
Is there car parking on site?
We have a large car park that is free to use if you are visiting the building. You will find dedicated bays for Disabled use close to reception / the main entrance.
I’ve come to use the community fridge, where is it located?
From reception head outside and follow the building all the way around to the right. You will see the stable block through large iron gates. The Community Fridge is located in here.
I’d like my elderly parent to join one of your social groups, how can I arrange this?
Please contact Social Circles on 01600 228660 socialcircles@bridgescentre.org.uk here at the centre and we will advise on availability and logistics.
