When the flood hit in November, the impact on the Bridges Centre building was immediate and devastating. But what followed reminded us just how strong this community truly is.

Volunteers arrived to help with the clear-up. Businesses rallied with support, supporters set up fundraising events and raised donations. And hundreds of people took part in our sponsored walk — covering miles together in support of the charity and the people we serve.

Every act of kindness, big or small, helped us move forward.

While our building continues to recover, our work has never stopped. Wellbeing services continue across Monmouthshire, and our community shop has now reopened, ensuring people can still access the support they need.

The short video we’re sharing today is a reflection of that journey — from the flood to the incredible community response that followed.

To everyone who helped, supported, walked, fundraised or donated: thank you.

Because Bridges is more than a building — it’s a community. 💚
