We are currently closed due to the recent flooding in Monmouth

Dear freinds of Bridges,

The recent flooding of Monmouth town centre has caused extensive damage to Bridges Centre and we are currently closed to the public. The flood waters reached desk height across the entire groundfloor.

Work is under way to restore our beautiful home to it’s former glory however this will not be a simple or quick process. We have set ourselves the challenge of reopening by mid January and will keep everybody that uses the centre regulalry updated with our progress.

We know that this is highly inconvenient for many of you and we can only apologise and ask for your understanding if you are in anyway impacted.

For those of you who had booked a private event with us in the next few weeks a member of the team will be in touch to discuss refunds, date changes etc within the next week. Please bear with us as we restore our computers and booking system.

Parties that had booked for Christmas lunches – we will also be in touch. Our current thinking is to reschedule to Easter lunches but obviously we are unable to confirm dates at this point.

We do hope that many of you will consider postponing your events until we are once agian able to accommodate you. We also appreciate that you may wish to find alternative arrangements and of course, respect your right to do so.

Flood Relief Appeal

We have been overwhelmed with offers of help and support from hundreds of local people within the community, thank you all! We have also been asked if people who are unable to help can donate financially to help get the charity back on its feet – bigger, better and stronger. If you would like to donate please follow the link below. Thank you all.
