After a challenging few months for our community, we are absolutely delighted to share that the Bridges Centre Community Shop will officially reopen on Monday 16th February at 10.30am.

We are honoured that Jackie Atkin, Mayor of Monmouth, will join us to cut the ribbon and mark this important moment.

A Shop With a Purpose

Our Community Shop is much more than a place to pick up great quality pre-loved clothing, books, jewellery and homeware at affordable prices.

  • Every penny raised goes directly back into supporting local people through Bridges Centre services.

  • The shop provides valuable volunteering opportunities.

  • It offers a warm, welcoming space in the heart of town.

Since the flooding in November, reopening the shop has been a significant milestone for us. While work continues elsewhere, seeing the shop lights back on feels like a powerful step forward.

Come and Celebrate With Us

We would love our community to join us on Monday morning to:

  • Meet the Mayor

  • Thank our wonderful shop volunteers and staff

  • Be among the first to browse our refreshed rails and shelves

  • Show your support for Bridges Centre

If you have donations to drop off, we’ll be welcoming those too during our usual opening hours in the days following reopening.

This reopening is about more than retail — it’s about resilience, community and moving forward together.

We hope to see you at 10.30am on Monday 16th February as we officially reopen the Bridges Centre Community Shop. 💚
